His career journey reflects the beautiful unpredictability of live sports and contains an unusual variety of firsts, records and never-to-be-repeated events.

From small halls in London's East End, to the boxing Meccas of Madison Square Garden and the Las Vegas strip, from Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko before 90,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium to Olympic boxing finals, Ronald has provided ringside reportage from boxing's most hallowed venues for a host of memorable moments in the sweet science.

Ronald has commentated at five Olympic Games, including London 2012 - where he commentated on the first women's boxing final in Olympic history - and Rio 2016, where he commentated on all 275 Olympic boxing matches for men and women. Additionally, Ronald has commentated at World and European Athletics Championships, the Wimbledon Tennis Championships (including the longest match in history; the three-day epic between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut), as well as many other Major Events including the 2019 PanAm Games, 2014 Asian Games, four Paralympic Games, two Olympic Winter Games, every edition of the Youth Olympic Games and basketball from the NBA and EuroLeague.

For five years, Ronald served as a Trustee of "Fight for Peace", a charity that uses boxing, mixed martial arts and education to support young people at risk of being affected by crime and violence. When not in a broadcast booth, Ronald is a regular at Stonebridge Boxing club, where he was a founding member and continues to play an integral role in mentoring, motivating and inspiring attendees in their endeavours, both in boxing and beyond the ropes.
